It is with a heavy heart and our hats in hand that Willie, Tim, Sue, and I, must announce that due to the parameters placed on our society as a response to the corona-virus pandemic, and the restrictions that each state has seemed appropriate for the perceived safety of its citizens, the Strength Shop USA 2020 United States Strongman Nationals will be postponed approximately one (1) year, still in Minnesota, on June 5th, 2021. The entry cut off will be May 9th, 2021. More details below.
We were planning to add a commemorative ring for purchase this year. Instead it will be 2021. Here is a picture of what would have been. For first and second place winners, they could purchase a ring with blue and red wording, on the top, respectively.
We understand that this is an unprecedented time, and in the nature of sportsmanship and affection for our members, have set some parameters for handling current and future registrations.
If you have already registered 2020, you may remain registered for 2021*
If you have qualified for 2020 and would like to register, you may do so until June 6th. This will register you for 2021*.
If you have registered for 2020 and wish to receive a refund, you may issue your request by June 27th, 2020. After that date you will automatically be signed up for 2021. If you are issued a refund, you are no longer qualified for 2021* and must re-qualify**. Refunds will not include transaction fees.
If you qualified for 2020 and choose not to register by June 6th, you will forfeit your qualification and will need to re-qualify** for 2021*.
*Any sanctioned USS show requires a current year's membership.
**Any show after June 1, 2020 will be a qualifier for 2021

Additionally, as an exercise in caution, both the 2020 Pro Women's Worlds and the u82.5k Worlds / u105k Masters' Worlds shows are being pushed back to 2021. Expect the dates to fall on the corresponding weekends in 2021, but they will be verified as we move forward. Conteste promoters of Jamie Hantke and Mitch Hughes will still promote those shows in the same locations. Event updates on the website will be made in the near future.
